Dr Alastair Gray
CEO and Consultant Clinical Psychologist
Alastair is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience across the NHS and private sector, specialising in neuropsychology, brain injury, and the psychological impact of complex physical trauma. With a PhD in Neuropsychology from Newcastle University and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College London, he has held senior clinical and leadership roles across multiple NHS Trusts before founding Meridian Psychology Cambridge, where he now works full-time supporting individuals with complex presentations and multidisciplinary teams managing high-acuity cases. Alastair also has a recognised specialist practice in aviation neuropsychology, providing cognitive assessment and expert opinion for commercial and private pilots, including work relating to ADHD, ASD, and post-injury assessment in line with Civil Aviation Authority standards. Alongside his clinical work, he is a Visiting Senior Lecturer at King’s College London, a Consultant Clinical Psychologist to the RAF, and a published author in the field of neuropsychology. He is HCPC-registered and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society.
Dr Alison Sillence
Consultant Clinical Psychologist
Alison Sillence is a highly experienced Clinical Psychologist working across NHS and private settings with older adolescents, adults, and older people facing complex physical and psychological challenges. She has particular expertise in working with individuals affected by traumatic brain injury and multiple, complex physical injuries, supporting psychological adjustment, rehabilitation, and recovery. Alison specialises in EMDR, a recognised evidence-based treatment for PTSD, and is fully qualified and highly experienced in delivering trauma-focused therapy, alongside psychological approaches to pain management. She draws on a range of evidence-based models including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches. She is highly experienced in multidisciplinary team working, service development, teaching, supervision, and group interventions, helping patients build resilience, adapt to life-changing conditions, and re-engage with meaningful activities. She is HCPC-registered and a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with the British Psychological Society.
Dr Sarah Griffiths
Consultant Clinical Psychologist
Sarah is a highly experienced Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist with over 15 years’ expertise in the assessment and treatment of neurological and neuropsychiatric conditions. She specialises in neuropsychological assessment, cognitive rehabilitation, and cognitive behavioural therapy, with particular experience in brain injury, dementia, epilepsy, and complex capacity and fitness-to-practise evaluations. Alongside her longstanding independent practice, Sarah has held senior roles within leading NHS services including the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and memory assessment services, where she has led multidisciplinary teams, developed services, and delivered specialist interventions. She also provides medico-legal expert witness reports in cases of brain injury and medical negligence, including giving evidence in court. Sarah is a skilled educator and supervisor, contributing to doctoral training and professional development, and is registered with the HCPC and the British Psychological Society Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists.
Ms Becky Oyedele
Rehabilitation assistant psychologist
Becky is a dedicated Assistant Psychologist and Associate Case Manager with extensive experience supporting individuals with brain injuries and complex neurological conditions. She specialises in delivering person-centred rehabilitation, combining strong clinical insight with a compassionate, empathetic approach to help clients achieve meaningful progress. Rebecca is highly skilled in multidisciplinary working, coordinating care, and conducting detailed assessments and reports to inform tailored intervention plans. With a background in managing large care teams and overseeing complex care packages, she brings strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills to her work. Holding an MSc in Applied Clinical Health Psychology, she is committed to evidence-based practice and is recognised for her ability to build trust, advocate effectively for clients, and support high-quality, holistic rehabilitation outcomes.
Mr James Starritt
Rehabilitation assistant psychologist
James is an experienced neuro-rehabilitation support worker and psychology undergraduate with a strong background in working with individuals with acquired brain injury and complex neurodivergent conditions. Alongside his current self-employed role delivering community-based rehabilitation and supporting multidisciplinary teams, he brings substantial managerial experience from high-risk environments, including senior roles within secure units, residential care, and youth offending services. James is skilled in managing challenging behaviour, coordinating care, and working collaboratively with a wide range of professionals to support vulnerable individuals. He has been recognised for his academic ability through a competitive research scholarship and publication in a peer-reviewed journal, reflecting a strong commitment to evidence-based practice. Combining practical frontline experience with academic training, he offers a thoughtful, resilient, and solutions-focused approach to complex care and rehabilitation.
Ms Florence Dunbar
Office manager
Florence is our experienced Office Manager, bringing a strong background in NHS service development alongside extensive expertise in managing busy clinical services. She oversees the day-to-day running of the practice, including office operations, payroll, and coordination of services, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Florence works closely with both patients and funders, providing clear communication and seamless support, and is known for her organised, proactive approach. Her experience in developing and improving healthcare services translates into a well-structured, responsive environment that supports both our team and the people we work with.
